The park entrance fee applies to all visitors. If you arrive in your private car, the entrance fee is $20 per car. This is valid for unlimited entries to Yosemite for seven days, and includes all occupants of the car.
$10 per person if arriving on foot, horseback, bicycle, motorcycle, or on a non-commercial bus (free for those 15 years old and younger).
Commercial tours pay the following rates (a special permit is required):
(Note that fees are based on capacity, not on occupancy.)
Other Passes
These passes admit the pass owner and any accompanying passengers in a private car. Purchase these passes at any park entrance station.
Yosemite Pass (annual pass): $40
America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass: $80
This is an annual admission pass covering admission and standard amenity fees. This replaces the National Parks Pass and Golden Eagle Pass.
Access Pass: Free
This is a lifetime admission and discount pass for US citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities.
Senior Pass: $10
This is a lifetime admission and discount pass for US citizens or permanent residents who are age 62 or older.
Most visitors to Yosemite National Park come in cars and other motorized vehicles. Each car going into Yosemite costs $20 and every person walking through the entry costs $10 while a hiker coming in from one of Yosemite's backcountry trails (like the John Muir trail) will be allowed into the park for free.
There is no "parking" fee for use of Yosemite. All people entering the Park pay a fee to support the protection of the park, whether they enter by driving, riding, biking, or walking. If entering in a private vehicle, the fee is $20 per car, which covers all occupants of the car for one week of entry.
In 2012, the admission price is $20 per vehicle, and that permits admission to the Park for that car for the next seven days. In other worlds, for about the price of one day of PARKING (ie, no admission) at a major theme park, a family can visit Yosemite for a week.
The entrance fee for any kind of passenger vehicle entering Yosemite is $20. Once inside, you can park, during the day, anywhere space is available. The cost to CAMP at Yosemite depends on where you want to camp. For RVs, it is generally $20 a night. Note that getting reservations for an RV in Yosemite is VERY difficult to do.
There is no admission fee to any part of Redwood National Park, other than the campground areas at three state parks. All three of these state parks honor federal admission passes, such as America the Beautiful, Senior Pass, Volunteer Pass, Access Pass, and military ID.

No. The admission fee is a requirement.

Like most popular national parks, Everglades NP has an admission fee.
The daily entrance fee is $9.80 (CDN) per adult.
The entrance fee for Yellowstone NP is $25 per passenger VEHICLE, and covers all passengers in that vehicle for one week. Thus, the cost of admission for the driver of car covers the cost for all children. Or you can pay for one year of admission to Yellowstone for $50. Or one year of admissions to ALL federal fee areas for $80. In other words, you can get one year of admission to ALL US national parks for an entire family, for less than the cost of one day's admission for one person to an amusement park. One VERY easy way to cut the cost of a vacation, IMHO.
The National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. has free admission. The IMAX theater has a ticket fee.
It costs $25 to get into Kakadu National Park, and that will give you access to the park for 14 consecutive days. The area of the park is 7,646 square miles.
