Your Winchester model 71 was the 64th rifle made by Winchester in 1950 out of a production that year of 1775 rifles. While you do not say if you have a standard model or a deluxe model(checkered wood, bolt peep sight, sling swivels.)these values are going up pretty fast. The standard model is valued at 650 dollars for a model with only 10% original condition, all the way up to 1,700 for a fine rifle with 90% of its original finish on the wood and metal and a fine bore. You can add 100% to the above listed prices for a deluxe model.you could also add 150% for a rifle with the 20in.barrel.And you can add 250 dollars if your rifle has a bolt peep sight.I would cherish that fine model 71.I had mine stolen out of my home back in the early 1990,s.
