What is the age and value of a John Wayne Commemorative Set of a Colt 45 Pistol JW928 and 32-40 Model 94 Winchester Rifle CJWC928?
The john Wayne colt and Winchester were both issued in 1981 for the Winchester and 1982 for the colt. The colt is a SAA standard in which 3,100 were manufactured in 1982. The Winchester going by serialization is a Canadian john Wayne which the the proper serial number should indicate CJW928(not CJWC928). with 1,000 of these manufactured in 1981. You can contact me at lgood303 at yahoo if you have any further questions on these. I am a commemorative collector and your items are somewhat appealing to me if you ever choose to part ways with them. Thank you. Lance
Winchester says they never made a Teddy Roosevelt Commemorative 30-06, but they do have a Teddy Roosevelt Commemorative Model 94 chambered in 30-30. They also have Limited Edition Model 1895s (Teddy Roosevelt's favorite rifle) in the 30-06 caliber that have Roosevelt's picture on the box, but they're not technically Teddy Roosevelt Commemorative models. Hope that helps.

Winchester went on to produce rifles and shotguns, but no pistols. About 700 of the small frame, .31 caliber…
What is the value of Winchester Buffalo Bill Commemorative rifle and carbine consecutive serial numbers - 104576 and 104577?
What is the value of a Winchester commemorative rifle Michigan law enforcement maufactured about 1980?
Winchester did not make a commemorative "Michigan law enforcement" Model 94. What you have is a special edition gun that was made by Winchester, but embellished by someon else. This was a very common practice with the Model 94. Cheverolet and Dodge, and Coca Cola did the same thing in the early 1980s. Special edition Winchester Model 94s essentially have the same value as a "plain Jane" Modle 94 of the same manufacture era.
