I have a J Stevens Springfield Model 15, .22 single shot, and there is no serial number. I bought it a t a gun store, and the dealer marked my receipt to indicate it had no serial number. There is also no indication that a serial number was removed.

Yes
I have a single shot Springfield shotgun but there is no model number anywhere. It looks just like a the Stevens Model 94 and has several identical parts although I am not sure what series of the 94 it is.
The 5100 was made from 1931 to 1941. I didn't know a single trigger was available in the Springfield line. I own an old Springfield double barrel 20 gauge, serial number E67029. Is Springfield the actual model name, I see no reference anywhere to a model 5100. How do I verify what I have. Well, Apollo50, tell us what IS marked on it and maybe we can tell you something.

Conclusions based on tumor marker tests are seldom based on one test result but on a series of test results, called serial measurements. A series of increasing or decreasing values is more significant than a single value.
The Springfield name was used by Stevens from 1920 to 1948.
The value of a Springfield 16 gauge single shot is dependent upon a number of factors. Some of those factors include the age and condition.
