Made during the World War II years where factory records are unclear. Probably close to 1946/1947. That should be a standard Model 94 carbine with 20" barrel. There will be some slight value differences between a saddle-ring carbine and an 'Eastern' carbine, flat band vs round band, etc. Also, there were some US Property marked carbines which are substantially more valuable. Typical condition specimens are trading in the $400-$600 range, which is somewhat inflated over this time last year because of the closing of the New Haven plant and the discontinuation of the model. I personally dont see why, since the later Model 94's are nothing like what you have and for me that model died when USRAC took over but I digress. Excellent condition pieces in your age range, assuming no extraordinary features or markings, would easily made $800. sales@countrygunsmith.net No records available but manufactured between 1943 and 1948.
