We have a Ranger bolt action rifle with a model # 103-8. We do not know the age of our gun however.

No published sn data. Don't know.
No published sn data; 10-125 USD or so
That is not the model number, but the Ranger marked shotguns were sold by Sears before WW2.
Can't tell you without a model. Stevens made tons of .22s, and their value depends on model, age and condition. Range is from well under $100 to several thousand.
From my research, the Marlin mod. 80 was produced from 1934 to 1971. Pre 1964 .22s were not required to have serial numbers. Puddlejumper
I received a J C Higgins Ranger model 853.990 as a gift in 1960. I don't know if they were around before that or not.
The Mossberg and Sons model 26B was made from 1938-1941.The value is between 35-100 dollars, depending on overall condition.
Your rifle was made for Sears Roebuck (Ranger was a "store brand", as was JC Higgins) Unfortunately, the 103-9 model has not been cross referenced. Used values are driven by condition, but these were low cost utility grade guns. Values are typically $50-$90. We cannot date these rifles, due to lack of cataloging. If there is no serial number, then it was made prior to 1968.
A Winchester model 1894 ranger in that condition is worth 395 dollars. The serial number indicates that your Winchester model 1894 ranger was a first year made rifle. It was produced in 1985.Winchester made the ranger model from 1985-2006.
Made in 1991.
