I am building a guitar for my senior project and need the angle amount of the peghead and neck angle of a rickenbacker moden 4001. Any help would be appreciated.
A rickenbacker 4001 Bass is a collector's item. 1973 was the last year that Rickenbacker featured the checkerboard edge pattern. I have seen them on ebay for $3500- $6000 in good shape.
Like music? Well, the Rickenbacker 4001 is a specialized bass bridge pick-up, so learning more will allow you to know more about the sounds you hear when listing to music.
Although the 4003 is kind of an improved 4001, still many bassists prefer the 4001, finally discontinued in the 80's. I guess it's personal preferences cause the 4003 is a great quality instrument.
Timothy B. Schmit, the bassist of the Eagles, is known to use a variety of bass guitars, but he is particularly associated with the Rickenbacker brand. He has often played a Rickenbacker 4001 model, which is recognized for its distinctive sound and aesthetic. In addition to Rickenbacker, he has also used other brands like Fender and Gibson throughout his career.
depending on condition. I would say a range from $800- to- $2400.
Cliff Burton used a Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar on the album "Ride the Lightning."
during the early years of the beatles group, paul mainly used a Hofner500/1 , although sometimes used a rickenbacker 4001/s , and also used a Wal 5 string
4001 = MMMMI
No, 4001 is not a multiple of 100.
4001/1000 = 4.001
I'd say around 1900$. You can always double check by asking in the forums of the Rickenbacker website. Lot of nice folks.http://www.rickenbacker.com/forum_index.asp
