Cliff Burton used a Rickenbacker 4001 Bass Guitar on the album "Ride the Lightning."
A typical drum set consists of a bass drum, snare drum, tom-toms, hi-hat cymbals, crash cymbal, and ride cymbal. The bass drum is usually placed on the floor, the snare drum between the legs, and the tom-toms above the bass drum. The hi-hat cymbals are operated by foot pedals, while the crash and ride cymbals are placed on stands to the right of the drummer.
A standard drum set typically includes a bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat cymbals, tom-toms, a ride cymbal, and a crash cymbal.
Bass. In choral fashion the Bass section is divided into Baritones (Bass 1) and Basses (Bass 2), Bass 2 being the lowest.
The different techniques for playing the accordion bass include using the standard bass buttons, playing bass notes with the left hand, using the stradella bass system, and incorporating bass runs and arpeggios for added flair and complexity.
The different types of bass lines used in music include walking bass, root note bass, slap bass, and ostinato bass. Each type provides a distinct rhythm and feel to a song, enhancing its overall sound.

Personally, I like the Russian Big Muff from Electroharmonix. It's the main pedal I use on the bass. Cliff Burton from Metallica and Chris Wolstenholme from Muse also use this pedal (although Cliff used an earlier model).
