What is the annual snowfall in Mexico?

It greatly depends on the city, since northern cities might get several snowfalls a year, and temperatures below -15ºC. In the south and southeast of Mexico it rarely, or never snows.

Among the states where it regularly snows are Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango and in most highly elevated small cities.

Snowfalls have even been registered in Mexico's major cities, such as Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.
