I used to go to a private school and they would NOT let us use any calculators. They took down everything in class. I asked "Why did you take them all down?" and she answered "I will get fired if I did so this is a serious matter to take a precaution to." If they catch u your life it dead. Anyway that is a private school, not sure bout' public.

It doesn't matter whether it's a private or public school, if you're enrolled you have to go. Unless you're sick, there's a family emergency, or you have an appointment with a doctor.

Good question: Doctors stay in school longer, unless the lawyer goes into a "specialty" but either way, after all of their schooling is complete, both professions are still "practicing".
