What tourist can see and do in Pakistan?
Pakistan is a country which is blessed with many resources, eg. natural beauty, river ,mountains and etc. In 1960s and 70s, Pakistan was well known amongst the hippies and many tourist use to come to Pakistan. Even Neil Arm Strong (The US astranaut) visited Pakistan in 1970s.Unfortunately the media propoganda has created a bad image of Pakistan in the minds of people. Yes,situation these days are complex in Pakistan but they are not as bad as the media is trying to portray.They only show 5 or 6% of the areas of pakistan which are suffering from conflicts or insurgencies but the rest of the country is (Alhamdulilah) safe. Around 90% or even more of the country is safe.Recently several tourists especially from US who have visited Pakistan have written articles on local Pakistani news websites and explained about how their experience was in this country.Generally yes crimes are their almost every where but still the people of Pakistan are welcoming.Their are many things to see in Pakistan. The northern areas of Pakistan especially Chitral,Gilgit ,Hunza and other valleys are something that are worth seeing places.Their pics are even their on facebook and google.Also their are historical sites called "Mohonjo Daro" and "Harrappa" which are the most ancient civilizations dating back to more than 2000 years.Lahore is also a historical city and the 2nd largest city of Pakistan.
