What is the answer to puzzle 40 in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box?

This puzzle is also known as Moving Day. You might have just finished puzzle number 45, Baggage Claim. Look at the large field on your left. You can move all your horses in 13 hours. You get a tiny part you can use to repair the Camera.You next puzzle number 33, Fishing Net.

The answer is 13 hrs.

The four horses must be moved in pairs and you must also remember to add the time it takes to travel back to collect another horse to your final count.

If you take horses 1 and 2 in the first trip, because you can only travel as fast as the slowest horse, this will take 2 hours.

Time to travel back on the quickest horse = 1hr + 2 hr = 3 hrs

The next trip take horses 4 and 6 this will take 6 hrs to get there, add this to the previous trip of 3 hours and you have no taken 9 hours. As horse number 2 was left last time we can use this horse to get back adding another 2 hours journey which is now at 11hrs.

The final stage requires you to then move horses 1 and 2 which takes 2 hours. As you have no horses to go back for this is the final leg. Add this to the time taken previously of 11 hours and you have the final total journey time of 13 hrs!

This Puzzle is also Known as the Frog's Path.You might have just finished puzzle number 134, Steam Power. Journal Entry: In the Bowels of the Castle. Look at the knot in the fourth path plank from the right, the left end of the railing on the right of the large hole, and the lever at the far end of the tracks for hint coins. Take a Photograph, must have repaired the camera. Photograph 9, Machine Room. Select the bent handrail at the front. Select the lever at the far end of the tracks. Select the left side of the railing beside the gap on the right. Look at Photograph 9 again. Look at the handrail where it was bent in the photograph, must have found all the differences in Photograph 9. Solution: The frog can land on the space with just 12 jumps. Try Puzzle number 135, The Magic Lock next.

Answer = Starting at the top of the diagram, A club is at the top facing the right way round, then next row a heart which is upside down next to a yellow circle then third row down a spade that is the right way up next to an upside down man, bottom row there is a triangle which points upwards.
