go somewhere on the other side of earth and there will be a full moon
Additional answer.
No there won't! The phase of the Moon is more or less the same wherever you are on Earth. Because its position in the sky relative to Earth and the Sun means that the face pointing to Earth is unlit. As the month progresses the relative positions change and more and more of the face we see is lit, so it starts off as a small crescent and gradually gets bigger.
But the lit side faces the opposite way in the northern and southern hemispheres. And you won't see the Moon from anywhere on Earth during new moon.
The moon is basically black, but occasionally you can see a dark gray circle against the black sky.
The very first phase of the moon is called new moon. You cannot see it in the sky because it is not reflecting the sun's light. The full moon is when you can see the entire side of the moon, which is just reflecting the sun's light. The other phases are the intermediate steps between new-to-full, and then full-to-new. Usually the term phase refers to the appearance of the moon except the way its appearance changes during a lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses always occur during the full moon phase.
A "lunar" eclipse can not happen during the new moon phase it can only happen when the moon is full.
A spring tide occurs during the full moon phase of the moon. This is also known as the new moon phase and the moon is located between the earth and the sun.
A solar eclipse can only occur at the time of New Moon.

New Moon
During a lunar eclipse, the moon is "full". During a solar eclipse the moon is "new".
The sun is not reflecting on the moon
No. None of the lunar surface is visible from Earth during the New Moon phase.
Those are the only times when eclipses can occur.
