it depends on the atom! For Hydrogen the atomic size could be described as '1' as it is the first atom and has 1 proton, 1 neutron and 1 electron. Then helium would be 2 and so on. Though we tend to use the size of the carbon atom to make relevent sizes to every other atom.
Platinum has an atomic mass of 195.08 & Vanadium has an atomic mass of 50.9415. So platinum is bigger in size.
The size of an isolated atom cannot be determined simply because scientists can't locate electrons outside of the nucleus. In addition to this, the size can be estimated by taking half the distance of adjacent atoms (in a solid)
According to me the atomic size of an atom increases or decreses with the change in the number of shells. As atomic size is defined as the distance between the nucleus and valence shell of an atom. So, the addition of an electron does not effect the atomic size. As we can see in the periodic table that while moving along a group the number of electrons increases along with increase in no. of shells, while the atomic size tends to be increase with addition of shells and neglecting the addition of electrons. Same is the case while moving along a period. Atomic size decreases while the attraction between increased nuleus charge increases . Thus the size of the atom decreases.
Atomic number of an atom shows the number of protons in the nucleus of the atom. OR Atomic number of an atom is the number of electrons in the atom when the atom neutrally charged
The atomic radius of cobalt is about 135 pm (±5 pm).
Atomic size of sodium is 186
Atomic size of sodium is 186
Size of a nutral atom
The hydrogen peroxide is a molecule, not an atom.
Atomic Size is the going across any period, atomic radius is decreasing in size due to the increase in the number of electrons is attracted toward the nucleus. Going down any group, there are a large increase in atomic size. The size of an atom depends on where the electrons are distributed outside the nucleus.
Platinum has an atomic mass of 195.08 & Vanadium has an atomic mass of 50.9415. So platinum is bigger in size.
If by Be you mean beryllium then yes.

The diameter (height) of an atom ranges from about 0.1 to 0.5 nanometers. The sizes of atoms vary depending on how high or low their atomic mass (number) is. The larger the atomic mass, the larger the atom.
