A good quality westie will cost somewhere from 1,500 to 2,000 dollars If you want a cheaper westie then you would have to adopt. A westie breeder that sells their pups at 800 dollars or less , you probably wouldn't want to buy from them because that might have health problems in the future.

I bought my Westie boy from a Meononite couple in Penn Yan, NY. He was $340, and was from ACA registered parents, who were on the premises. I've seen AKC registered puppies go for between $700-$800 in my local paper.

It greatly depends on where you live! In my area, Westies from a good breeder are not as expensive as in other areas because they are not a popular breed here. (I have one, and NOBODY here knows what a West Highland White Terrier is, .... people keep asking if he is a white Schnauzer, a Maltese, and one person even asked if he was some type of "new" Poodle...LOL!!) But in areas where Westies are popular they can be VERY expensive.
