The gravity system , where waste settles in to a tank, usually of concrete that holds 400-600 gallons. There is a pipe near the top for the black water to trickle out of to a septic field, which is basically 200-300 feet of pipe with small holes to allow the water to leak out into the ground over a large area. The rest of the solid waste is aerobically treated by microbes and worms and totally digested in the perfect system.
between 5 and 25 for most production now. Very few of the small fuel tank cars built anymore. A raw guess would be 13 gallons capacity on average.
Tanks that collect waste water are known as "Septic Tanks". These are mostly used for residential and small commercial properties in areas that are not served by Public Sewer facilities. Septic Tanks are typically made of high-strength cast concrete, often reinforced with steel bars or mesh. They typically have a capacity of approximately 900 to 2500 gallons.
18 I don't think so. Mine only holds just over 12 gallons. In fact that is one of the original complaints that reviews gave the Catera, too small of a gas tank.
very small pool ..... i would say 8 by 16 or equivalent ... maybe a swim jet pool or large hottub
Sewage is a waste water from houses and other institutions, industries while septic tank is a treatment unit for sewage from small communities
"small" is a relative term. A small bowl could be a 4 ounce bowl, a 6 ounce bowl ,an 8 ounce bowl . An average soup bowl is 12 ounces.
It depends on the plane but 150 gallons is pretty average among small planes. Avgas is about $4.00 a gallon so that comes out to about $600 to fill it up.
no
It depends on the plane. If it's a small one like a two or four seat cessna, 150 gallons is pretty average. Jumbo jets might carry about 48,000-60,000 gallons
Not if it's used in small amounts. Too many harsh chemicals over a long period of time however will interfere with the septic tank's ability to break down solid waste. If this happens, the septic tank will have to be serviced more often and has a greater potential of clogging and backing up.
It depends on the mileage of the vehicle and the fuel used. Very roughly however, assuming the average mileage of the vehicle as 18 kmpl (small cars) , 22 gallons of gas is required for 941 miles.
