There is not enough information here to give you an answer. It depends widely, on education level, industry, level of experience, transferable skills that you have that the boss wants, and company, to name just a few factors. Your salary is higher if you have more education, more skills, more experience in the job, and working for corporations.

I'm 22 and just graduated college and will be making almost $26,000 in research at a university. Lots of my classmates will be making more than that, especially if they work with corporations instead of universities.

If a 23 year old has only a high school education, more than likely they will be making wages around $10.00 per hour or less.
