First of all..."PitBull" is not a breed unto itself...it is just a description of how certain breeds/mixes/mutts look. Bluenose or BluePits are just colors and nothing more. It refers to the blue/grey color of the fur and nose which is really a "dilution" of the black color. As for size, it would depend on what breeds make up the dog in question. A purebred APBT (American pit Bull Terrier) would range from ~40-65 pounds (a female would be aout 5-10#s snaller). An AST (American Staffordshire Terrier) would be maybe a bit heavier or look a little "thicker" than an APBT. An AB (American Bully) would be taller than an APBT(22" at the withers...top of shoulders) and could weight up to ~95 pounds or so. Other mixes with Mastiff breeds can get up to and over 120 pounds. Just remember that "Blue" or "Bluenose" only refers to color and does not mean that the dog is purebred or a particular breed. Also be careful of any breeders that "Breed for Color"...it is trouble down the road. For one "Red nose" and "blue nose" are not breeds but colors. If he is a pure American Pit Bull Terrier his head should not get very big. American bullies are generly mistaken for pit bulls and have big heads.
