Very often, the beeping coming from a smoke detector is a sign that the batteries may be going dead. If you want the beeping to stop, change the batteries.

Are you referring to a beeping noise or an actual alarm noise?If it is a beeping noise it could be a door open or head light on alert. Are there any indication lights showing up on your dash? If so, check your vehicles owners manual for some more insight.

I know it is under the hood but I don't know if it's the little hose coming in near the radiator cap or the big hose coming out the other side.
if the smell is coming from the engine compartment it could be the batteries going bad.
its a speed alarm, comes on at 105km/h mine has one as well... also seems to limit cruise control to 110km/h.
