Presumably this means that you believe that Jesus was a real person. you would probably also believe that he was a man of high moral principles and a great teacher, but that he was not the son of God - because God does not exist.
It would be possible for an atheist to believe this. It would also be possible, say, for a Buddhist, a Taoist, a pagan or an animist to believe this, because they have beliefs about the existence of other gods, but not the Christian God.
AnswerThere is some historical evidence that a man named Jesus may have existed around the first century. The evidence is highly dubious, but it's there. This in no way affects my non-belief in a god. I believe there was a man called Jim Jones that existed as well, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to be "drinking the Kool-Aid" any time soon either.
AnswerMost atheists believe Jesus existed, they just don't think he's divine.
Answerit depends because of the trinity you cant just belive in one
AnswerJesus is God. You can't believe in Jesus and not God.Jesus said that he was God, and whoever saw Him saw the Father. He also said that whoever believed in Him belived in God.
Just as the belief that God exists is a matter of faith alone, so also the belief that Jesus is God is a matter of faith, based largely on the Gospel of John.
Christianity is the belief in only ONE god, who is God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Christianity
Christians say that without belief in the resurrection of Jesus, they would not believe in Jesus as the Son of God.
Jesus is the Word of God and life was created through him. Jesus existed before.
God and Jesus are the same being. They are in a trio with the Holy Spirit to form God. But God has existed since forever. He has no beginning, and He has no end.
Jesus is part of the trinity which means he is God. John 1:1-2 can prove that Jesus like God always existed. John 1:1-2 "in the beginning was the Word, was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."
I think there is hardly a single belief that all followers of Christianity share. Many Christians tend to believe:That Jesus actually existed.Either that he is the son of God, or that he is somehow an incarnation of God himself. That belief in God - and in Jesus - is an important part of their religion. That Jesus died to save us - whatever that means. That Jesus resurrected. That Jesus performed several miracles.
Belief in the god of Abraham and the divinity of Jesus Christ.
Not according to Jewish belief.
Elohim (אלוקים) is the Hebrew word for God. According to Jewish belief, God has always existed, and was never born.
This is related to the Catholic belief that Jesus is God.
