Learning another language can be beneficial as a key factor in helping one in being a step ahead others in getting a great career. Individuals who hire are looking for a multifunctional person who is well rounded and being competent in another language will help business in any way becase it'll always attract new people and help you get a chance to reach others to do a better job. For example, if you're interested in being a professor, learning another language will give you an edge in the market as well as allow you to reach a larger audience of students you can teach in many areas where your languages are popular, so better job opprtunities as well. In addition, one will be able to use another language to travel and gain personal experiences like meeting new friends and possibly living or commuting to a new environment and city.
