Take I-95 SOUTH to Washington, D.C.
Take I-90 EAST to Boston
Interstate 80 connects the two. If you drive across the George Washington Bridge, you won't have to make any turns.
E842 is the best route across. SS16 to A14 connects to that.
Personally I'd probably use the I-80 route.

The best route to Belmount Park , New York is to buy a ticket for the train. Its the best and the quick way to be there, also you can buy those tickets in every LIRR stationin advance or the same day.
It is approximately 90 miles if you take the Massachusetts Turnpike, which is by far the best route.
