This question is always highly subjective. But the standard response is Black Lotus.
You can find copies of the Black Lotus on eBay, online cards stores and players have them in their collection. You can buy or trade for them.
Some stores have them as prizes for tournaments, win the tournament, win the card.
A Near Mint version of the card are over $1000, but I have seen near mint Black Lotuses online for around $1200.
The Wikipedia claims that the Black Lotus is the most valuable card ever.
It would be almost impossible to "guess" which card from the test Set was created first. I do remember reading somewhere that the original art for the card Heal was Spock and the Dwarven warriors card were the Dwarves from Snow White. Alpha was the first official printed set and as Air Elemental was the first card of that set technically that would be the first card.
Lightning Bolt would probably be the best, or at least one of the best red cards ever printed. Again this question is subjective, technically mythic rares are the "rarest" cards, but if you mean rare as in hard to find, I would say something like Zodiac Dragon or Rolling Earthquake from Portal: Three Kingdoms
Initially it was designed as a logic and learning game, that very quickly became the most successful TCG ever printed.

The Dark Magic is THE best yoyo ever.
An infinite amount really.Something like Beacon of Immortality can be constantly played to double your life total, as long as you don't lose the game or if the card gets countered, etc.Keep enough mana untapped to play it, and eventually your deck will be whittled down to just that one card, which keeps going to your deck when you play it.
if you want to learn how to do that trick and many more go to masters of magic. its deffinitley the best site for magic ever http://www.masteryourmagic.com/learn-magic/?a=a107
It's the 3rd best monster ever! It is a GOD CARD!
