Ozone is the best choice for an indoor pool. You will still have to have a very small amount of residual chlorine to supplement the ozone system.

There are no "chemical free" alternatives to treating pools, indoor or outdoor. What you're probably looking for is something that will dramatically reduce chlorine odors (salt in the water produces chlorine). Biguanides such as Soft Swim or Baquacil are good alternatives, but you run a higher incidence of pool mold or pink slime. This is NOT from the biguanide product itself, but because of the growth of bio-films on pool surfaces (including pluming lines) and the relatively poor natural oxidizing (lack of direct sunlight) and ventilation of indoor pools (waste from oxidizing can't gas off). A good alternative to consider that is chlorine & bromine free is a product called Pristine Blue. A liquid product that uses a non-chlorine, granular shock. One of the nice things about Pristine Blue is that although it is non-chlorine, it is chlorine compatible. In other words, if you run into a problem that is easier to cure or treat with a solid chlorine shock, you don't have to change or interrupt your Pristine Blue treatment. Pristine Blue is the only pool non-chlorine pool sanitizer that is rated NSF 60 - can be used in drinking water. Very easy on the environment too.

Both the swimming pool has benefits and drawbacks. It's your lifestyle to choose the type of enjoyment but I would mostly prefer outdoor swimming. It can make me more comfortable with friends. From my point of view outdoor swimming is better than indoor swimming.

One of the best places to buy indoor swimming pools is through the site, Endless Pools, as they have one of the largest selections available. Local contractors are also a good source to purchase indoor swimming pools.

Bromine, from what I can gather, is usually used in spas, since there is less of an odor. I believe that it is possible to use bromine as a sanitiser for an indoor pool. Salt is another alternative. Basically you need a unit called a Salt Cell, which passes an electric current through the water and converts salt into chlorine and back again, hence sanitising your pool. Very, very good alternative - they cost less and are less harsh than chlorine by itself.

He had a 'swimming-pool' or 'Swimming bath' that he enjoyed in the Palace of Alexander and mentioned in his diaries. He even took Aleksey there. The palace of Catherine the Great did have an indoor bathing building and lakes to swim in.

Indoor pool use less chlorine due to the fact that they are not subject to sunlight. Sunlight is the biggest killer of chlorine in pools. That is why you will use more chlorine in an outdoor pool in June and July because those are the months with the most sunlight. The other factor to take into consideration is bather load, whether an indoor or an outdoor pool.
