If your shower curtain is made of a fabric that can not handle bleach or would be discolored by bleach there are color safe bleaches which will not discolor your shower curtain when you use them. If you are sensitive to bleach yourself or have an allergic reaction to bleach, you can also find bleach alternatives, which are far easier on those who cannot necessarily deal with the straight bleach solution to keep the mildew off of their shower curtain.
