A topic sentence is a sentence that basically sums up an essay or project, whatever the case may be. Say the topic were poodles, the topic sentence could be "I believe poodles are the best pet", or if the topic was Laptops, the topic sentence could be "I believe [Insert laptop name here] is the most efficient laptop.
