Teens who are sedentary often need some type of motivation to change their lifestyle and get active, and a diet change can help stimulate this. I would recommend lots of fruits and vegetables to initiate this change.
Except for very overweight and obese teens, average teens don't need to go on diet. They just have to eat healthy and balance meals.

Eating such foods has become a habit for average teenagers and it is time to limit such intake. For kids, calories is not much of an issue as fat, sodium, and sugar which can cause heart problems and diabetes in the future.
Teens can prevent acne by taking good care of their skin and also eating a healthy diet.
