Tough one. But if you don't mind the wood, I think Schecter builds a nice one for cheap.
I good playable electric guitar for a band will cost you 300+ dollars.
you can't even find a right handed Gibson guitar for 300
If you can find a used Seagull S6 Cedar top for under that it is a decent starting guitar. But if you're serious then you'll want to start in the $500 range for the good stuff.
it depends. if your playing in a band, get a line 6 amp that's hella big. if its just for practice, for 300 dollars you can get an amp plus a guitar. 300 dollars is alot to spend on an amp.
can range from about 250-700
It really depends on what kind of guitar you want, and what your budget is like. I just purchased an acoustic/electric Ovation celebrity for only two hundred dollars at a pawn shop. If your looking for around a 300 dollar guitar in my opinion ovation is hard to beat. As for electrics, I recently played an Ibanez that was about the 200- 300 dollar range that played nicely, also Schecter makes very nice affordable guitars. I wouldn't recommend purchasing an electric for under 100$
normal rock stay away from stereotypes like les pauls because their expensive, many people will argue they are the best for rock but you can on any over driven amp. BC Rich is probably my pick, the ones with active pickups and that are neck through, that's more metal but you can do rock on it too. Nothing wrong with the cheap ones though, its the best affordable guitar brand for under 300$ I've played.
300 US....in this credit crunch?? you must be rich...i would suggest you lined up your audience and played personally for each one with a hollow guitar...for 300 bucks ud get a Mansion in the US....
me personally I'd get another BC Rich Warlock or something used off of craigslist for 300 dollars. My best metal guitar was a 7 string that some guy custom made for 250 minus the repairs i had to do.
A Rickenbacker 330 is an electric guitar that is part of the Rickenbacker 300 line. It is one of their most well known guitars and is not sold in stores, having to be ordered specially.
I always liked LTD , low end epiphones aren't bad as of 2013 , Agile makes some affordable ones for under $300. play something and see if you like it. Upgrade the guitar tuners to Grover or something better like Schaller , sperzel , gotoh..ect and just keep playing. I'd spend at least $150 (used) or $300 new. Don't worry about getting used guitars , I mean if it's your first why take a huge risk getting a $300 guitar just to only find out a week later that it isn't what you want to do. The good thing is you can rent guitars.
Webers are by far the best grill that can be purchase for under $300 anywhere.
