Probly under the drivers door on the inside of the frame.
The frame on the 58 is a straight rail frame. The frame on the 70's drops in the middle. It would not be a simple bolt in application.

Under the vehicle, inside drivers side frame rail, aprox under the drivers seat.
It is in the frame rail on driverside, back by the Transmission cross member. You will have to lay down under the truck, and look up into the frame.

You didn't mention what year you have but most of them had the fuel filter mounted inside the drivers side frame rail, aprox under the drivers door.
