Wearing mascara with contacts is perfectly safe with virtually any brand of mascara.
I suggest a mascara that focuses on length rather than volume. This means that the mascara is designed to build up your lashes at the tips rather than the base, keeping your eye clear from any risk, though I wear my contacts with plumping mascara all the time. Both ways are safe, but if you're worried, stick to length-enhancing formulas.
Applying too much mascara can be dangerous for your eye with or without contacts. Keep your application light (1-2 coats) and focus more on separating your lashes than building them.
If you still aren't getting the effect you want, false lashes are always a safe option. They won't effect your lens and are also perfectly safe.
I hope this has helped you!

I've recently been using Clinique Lash Doubling mascara and like it, but I throw my mascaras away after a couple months because I wear contacts and Clinique mascara is really expensive. I normally buy Maybelline because it works and it's not very expensive.
