Use a quality petroleum oil (Quaker State 10W30) for the break-in period. After the initial break-in, 100% synthetic 100% of the time.
The Mopar part number is 5281090
The Mopar part number is 5281090
mopar motors have the number stamped on the side of the engine block
Mopar makes a very good 5.9L 360 V8 engine (408 stroker) with over 400 ft./lbs. of torque and approximately 370 hp. The only thing is mopar does not put the magnum heads in it, but you would be good with some aluminum heads.
360 V-8 Mopar? It should be on top, in back of engine, just to the drivers side of the distibutor.
BIG job, costly. Replace with mopar eng. 318-360.
The size is different. The 360 engine is a 5.9 liter engine and a 318 is a 5.2 liter engine.
I'm about 100% sure Chevy did not. The 360 engine was a ford engine.
The difference is the overall size of the engine. A 318 is a 5.2 liter engine. A 360 is a 5.9 liter engine.
WELL FIRST OF ALL THE 318 AND THE 360 USE THE SAME ENGINE BLOCK (LA) JUST DIFFERENT HEADS AND BORE SIZE, AS FOR THE 383 ITS PART OF THE DODGE BIG BLOCK FAMILY (RB) AND THAT CAN BE DONE BUT SUSPENSION MAY NEED TO BE DONE DUE TO THE EXTRA WEIGHT BUT IM PRETTY SURE IT CAN BE MOUNTED IN WITH THE RIGHT MOUNTS AND IT MAY DEPEND ON WHAT AUTOMOBILE ITS IN SO GOOD LUCK GO MOPAR
