Flushing sludge from your engine is not a very smart thing to do. Almost every automotive technician will agree with that. Flushing out an engine causes all the
sludge to drain down into the oil pan. Which in turn tends to plug up the oil pick up and causes engine damage.
I went to Lincoln Tech Auto school and the Professor in my Automatic Transmissions class told me the best thing to do, to clean out your engine is to put Automatic Transmission fluid in it and run it over the weekend and then change it out with regular motor oil.
In terms of price and durability, this is the best professional engine.
First of all you should flush it out. Then fill the system with pure water (only water). Do not overfill and do not drive the car. Start the engine and run it couple minutes. Then wait while the engine is cooling down. After that flush the water off the engine. And repeat the same at least 2 times. Be careful, don't forget to wait before flushing water.
This pertains to a diesel engine. It's the sweet spot where everything comes together and the engine is performing at its best.
Where individuals can purchase goods that they want.
You basically got two options one is to try with engine cleaner additive from wynns or similar manufacturer. It all depends on how bad the sludge problem has become. If it is a mild case the engine cleaner additive might do the trick. But if the sludge is of a major level then a engine flush done at a garage with a special machine is the way to go. And finally the last option if its really bad then a engine rebuild is what you have to do. Best regards /Martin Audi service engineer
No, not in itself, unless you got water on some electrical parts. You do not flush the internal engine with water. BG Chemicals has the best flush I personally have used in my repair shop.
"Nut" means 'best possible' so the "nut flush" would be the best possible flush.
Sounds like the head gasket has gone. either get it fixed quick before the head worps or flush it out with rad flush then add K seal to the collant. this should fix it if the head is not to damaged. The best thing is to simply get the Head gasket fixed.
A straight flush is the second best hand.
Most likely it's a collection of dirty sludge called magnetite partly restricting water flow through though the radiator. Only way around it it to flush it out. Best way is to drain the radiator , remove it, take it out side & flush it out with a hosepipe. Wet & dirty to do it yourself. Might be easier to get a plumber.
drain all coolant from system. flush with water until clean water is comming out of engine. fill rad with water and run engine up to temp. this should help remove the antifreeze from the engine. drain water out and run water through system again until clean. add new coolant to system. should be good. use garden hose to flush out system
There is not one specific fat flush pill that is considered to be the best. They all have pros and cons to them. The best thing to do is consult a physician before taking any fat flush pill.
The valve you're referring to is the radiator petcock. If yours is equipped with one, it will be 2-3 inches from the bottom of the radiator. It looks like a bolt sticking out of the radiator. Remove this and your coolant will drain away. If not, just remove the lower radiator hose and proceed that way. *Remember when flushing out your cooling system, in order to do a complete flush, you must flush in the opposite direction of internal radiator flow. For a down flow radiator (metal fins run vertically), flush from the bottom up, with the cap in place allowing all the coolant and sludge to exit from the upper radiator hose until clear water comes out(best with radiator removed). In order to flush out your engine block, disconnect the radiator upper and lower hoses and remove thermostat and reinstall thermostat housing. Attach water hose to upper radiator hose and flush engine until clean water flows out of the lower radiator hose.
