A sharp one. Good clean skin, warm water, and shaving cream complete the cast. Single, double, triple, quadruple, whatever - sharpness and preparation are key, not the number of freakin' blades - that's just a marketing scam to make you buy $40 razor blades for a 30 cent razor. if you have a thick beard, soften it with a nice hot towel, let the shaving cream sit on your face for a few minutes. Taking this extra time will help a lot and feel a lot better too.

∙ 14y agoI prefer an electric razor because even though a handheld regular shower razor gets a closer shave and a bit smoother, your at a risk of getting cut. Eletric razors cannot get you cut or scraped! Even though you have to charge it, its worth it, and you still get smooth legs and no cuts/scrapes! BONUS!

∙ 11y agoGillette is the best brand. Lately I'd purchased the "fusion proglide styler" - it has combs for different hair lengths.
