The single Viva La Vida certainly has led the album tracks thus far, with 3.921.000 copies - both CD and digital - (of which 2.106.434 in US, 35.000 in Australia), making it the best selling Coldplay single to date.
It probably would have been either "Yellow", "The Scientist" or "Clocks" , however after their latest album, the song "Viva la Vida" is probably more recognisable to a wider audience who perhaps are not big fans of Coldplay.
That would be difficult to answer...but guessing it would be one of the following: Yellow, The Scientist, Clocks, or Viva La Vida
It's a hard question to answer as it is based on personal preference but my personal favourite song by Coldplay is Yellow.
Viva La Vida has sold the most copies.
