This is a self preference. Some people prefer to work out just as they wake up as they feel they are more awake afterwards. Other people tend to want to work out about midway between lunch and dinner so they are neither hungry or full. It is unbeneficial for you to work out just before sleep because you are more awake and will tend to stay awake for a longer amount of time.
