If you ask everyone I know, they would say Carefresh. I would too! Carefresh is a popular brand, that is sold at Pet Supply Stores, and even Walmart! I would recommend the Carefresh Natural.
It is a very absorbent, odorless formula from recycled pulp and paper. The gerbils love it! Give them lots of cardboard to chew on for their shreddings to mix with the bedding, to make the ultimate blend!
NEVER use other types of bedding with either cedar or pine inside of it, which causes the gerbils to have sinus infections from excess dust, and it will eventually lead them to death!

∙ 14y agoGerbils will happily live in small homes found in a pet shop. They like to have soft hay inside for comfort. You can scatter cardboard around the cage so your gerbils can keep active and fit collecting cardboard to nest their home.

∙ 13y agoGerbils are a lot like cats. They are nappers. They sleep whenever they feel like it, eat whenever they feel like it, etc. My gerbils are sleeping right now and it's 4:00 in the afternoon!
