It really depends. •Are you well educated about writing? •Do you enjoy writing? •Do you have time to write stories? •Are you patient? Ask yourself questions like this. Everybody is different, so maybe it would be hard for you. But I enjoy writing, so I find it fairly easy. Just try to write a short story, about a topic you are comfortable with. If you find it easy and enjoyable, turn that short story into a book!

Some ideas to motivate yourself include: * work with a friend * choose a topic that interests you * think about the pressure that bulids when you procrastinate * make a bargain with yourself- work for 30-45 minutes then treat yourself to something really special * Look at the assignment as something you are choosing to do rather than something you must do. Realize that getting the paper done will give you peace of mind.
Whatever you want - you're the author! Write about what you're like, what you enjoy doing, what your hobbies are, what you hope to become - anything at all.
You will need to write this yourself, making the response specific to yourself and the company you are applying with. For me, I chose to apply to FSIS because I enjoy systems management and performing gross pathologic examinations.
