What is the best way to train defense in runescape non mem?

Be warned it took me 5 1/2 hours to get from defense level 50 to 60... I trained on the scorpions at the mining place in AL kharid. Every half hour or so take a 5 minute break so your not totally board out of your mind, also I trained with a bunch of friends so i could chat with them while training.

I think you should train to atleast 40 min but I'd say to 50 for granite armour plus not sure if you train attack but if you a mem get that to 60

There is also cooking, fishing, herblore, Slayer, Farming, Summoning which is used for combat, smithing, crafting, runecrafting, firemaking, prayer, and that's the other runescape skills. :-) edit by - 51darkflames there are those skills but according to jagex they are coming out with a new non members and members skill in 2010 (just 1 skill not 1 for each non mem ans mem just 1 that you can use both non mem and mem)
