from level 1 to 10ordanairy tree from level 10to30oak tree found near bank in draynor if you want xp then do from 30 to 60 cut willow but if you are wanting money cut oak till 60 because oak always sells for more than willow then from 60 ( I think ) to 99 cut yew ( I am sure about all the levels except yew if its not 60 its 80 but I am pretty sure its 60)

At a certain amount of xp you will get a nest, so the best tree/woodcutting thing to do is ivy to get birds nests, as it gives you 332.5xp per cut, however this is only fast a higher levels so a lower level tree will get you more xp (and more nests) because you are cutting faster and gaining more xp an hour.
