What is the biggest big block these days? A 572 maybe? They have huge engine compartments, so you can fit pretty much ANY big block in there.
put a turbocharger on that and you will boost that horsepower to 560. put that engine with the turbocharger in a '70 chevelle and you have yourself a pure-muscle street car.

Lift most of the weight off of the engine and take off the bracket. Then just replace it.
The 70 LS6 Chevelle with the 454 big block was rated at 450 horse power but at the dragstrip, with only mods to prevent body tweaking, it put out closer to 480 HP.
YES it will bolt right on with no problems. You WILL need the headlight wiring harness from a '70 to accommodate the 4 headlight system though.
The 1970 chevelle ss with the 454 weighed 3,800 pounds.
