The Endocrine System
to pump blood throughout your entire body
The main function of circulation is transport of nutrition to the cellular level of the body and to carry out exchange of gases like oxygen and carbon di oxide from the cells. Apart from these, circulatory system has a very major role in homeostasis of the body, some of which include temperature regulation, immunity, healing, etc.

The role of the respiratory system is the exchange of gases. This means that the lungs take oxygen into the blood in exchange for carbon dioxide removed from the blood. Note that exchange does not mean that oxygen is changed intocarbon dioxide. It simply means that oxygen is taken in at the same time as carbon dioxide is given out. The oxygen taken in is used by the body cells in the process of respiration: the release of energy from food. When food is "burned" with oxygen, carbon dioxide is produced which has to be removed from the body. See http://yucky.discovery.com/flash/body/pg000138.html

study role in body
Capillaries are very small blood vessels found within the tissues of the body. Its primary role is to transport blood from arteries to the veins.
The respiratory system brings oxygen into the body.
Calcium plays a major role in the formation of bones.
