i had a '98 and it was 11mm. If i were you i would buy a swivel socket and an 18" extention. Makes it much easier, 15 min job.
Bad crank position sensor
crank or cam shaft position sensor is sometime the issue.it will not fuel if it cannot find the position of the cam or crank

On the top of the bell housing. thats the crank position sensor the cam sensor in a 93 is fixed in the distributor to replace it you need a new distributor
You can not. The crankshaft position sensor is required to run the engine.
