In Revelation 12:7-10 Michael and his angels do battle with Satan and hurl him and his demons to the earth. In Revelation 20:1-3 we learn that after some time 'misleading the inhabitants of the earth', he is thrown into an abyss for 1000 years (during the 1000 year reign of Christ), at the end of that time, he is to be let loose again for a short time to test those on earth who have now been perfected under Christ's reign.
In Revelation 20:7-10 we see his final attempt to draw perfect mankind away from God, and his final destruction by God.
Lucifer's named changed to ha Satan (adversary) after the 1st rebellion. In symbolic language of Scripture, Satan is referred to commonly as a dragon:
Revelation 12:7-8New King James Version (NKJV) Satan Thrown Out of Heaven7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. There is no mention in the Bible of Lucifer having a dog.
The story of Lucifer's rebellion and fall from heaven can be found in the book of Isaiah (Isaiah 14:12-15) and the book of Ezekiel (Ezekiel 28:12-17) in the Bible. Both of these passages are often interpreted as describing the origin and fall of Lucifer, who is associated with Satan in Christian tradition.
There are arguably only three angels named in the Bible: Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer who became ha Satan.
The 'Protestant' Bible (no Apochrapha Books) only mentions 3 angels by name: Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer who is now Satan.
There is no mention in the Bible of Lucifer being in the Garden of Eden.
# Lucifer still exists--we usually call him Satan or the Devil. # The Bible does not indicate when Lucifer and the rest of the angels were created.
Lucifer is an Angel himself, and is said to have companion Angels.
Only three mentioned by name: Gabriel, Michael and Raphael not including Lucifer. Any others are of gnostic teachings and thus false.
