Perhaps you mean by-pass hose. It allows a small amount of coolant to circulate in engine prior to thermostat opening
The housing gasket may be bad. Replace the gasket.
your heater core is leaking
First where is it leaking or do you know? just to the right and under the fill "tank".
Failed seal. Replace it.
I thought mine was leaking from the hose also, but I had too much antifreeze in, and also the thermostat was stuck, I only got the leak after driving a long time or in hot weather
thermostat gasket probably leaking. replace thermostat and gasket making sure that thermostat housing is flat.
Remove the housing and replace the gasket.
Replace the thermostat housing seal or gasket.
Because the plastic housing is cracked. That is what happened to mine.
cry because its probaly lower intake manifold leaking which is 500-700 to fix
It's probably not really connected to the housing, but rather to a temperature sending unit that normally screws in to the housing. These sometimes have plastic parts, or others, that can leak or fail. They are normally very inexpensive to replace...again just screwing in and out.
