The Bauhaus School was first founded in 1919 in Weimar, Germany by Walter Gropius. It was forced to be closed in 1933 because of the WW2. However, this international style is still widely used today in our daily lives. Unlike the Memphis design, the physiology of this school is focused on functionalism and making its design modern. In Bauhaus design decorations won't be added unless necessarily and mainly uses the colours red, blue and yellow. The geometric shapes square, triangle and circle are also used very often in Bauhaus design.
