There is only one star in the solar system, and that is Sol, our sun. All planets that form our solar system orbit around Sol -- there are no other stars in our solar system. The next closest star/solar system is Alpha Centuri, about 4.3 light years away.
From Earth, the Sun is the brightest object and the Moon is the second brightest object. They're about the same size as seen from Earth (a coincidence), but the Moon is getting further away and the Sun is getting larger (both are very, very slow processes).
From outside the solar system, the brightest object would still be the Sun. Second brightest depends on the precise angle, but Jupiter would normally be the second largest and brightest object. However, if the viewing location is face-on to Saturn's rings, it might appear larger and thus brighter than Jupiter. Saturn also has the advantage of being further from the Sun's glare, and thus might be easier to find telescopically.
These are presuming you're looking in the visual band. At certain wavelengths, Earth might be the second brightest object in the Solar system. If you're in the right place at the right time (in the path of a SETI transmission), Earth might even be the BRIGHTEST object in the Solar system at some wavelengths.
the sun is still there at night. the sun's light reflects the moon, so that is what makes the moon shine... next time go to science class!

Jupiter is the largest planet.
Venus
The planet Venus.
A solar system could simply have one planet, the most important thing is that it has to have a sun with celestial bodies that revolve around it in its gravitational field to be classified as a solar system.
In 2012 the solar system will be exactly the same. Because 2012 is just another year there's no such thing as the end of the world
Venus is the brightest thing in the sky, after the Sun and Moon.
Yes, all the organisms on our planet, Earth
The planet Venus.
99.5% of the mass of the entire solar system is in the Sun. And more than 99% of the energy generated in the solar system is also from the sun. It's the largest mass in the solar system, and it's generating almost all the solar system's power - it stands to reason it's going to be the biggest and brightest thing in the solar system.
There is no such thing as a "passive" solar system.

No, it does not have a name. The name "solar system" is the only thing we call it. It does NOT have a specific name. But, constellations in the solar system do have specific names. No. The largest thing is the solar system by far is the sun. Titan comes in tenth place.
no. there are no black holes in our solar system.
Most object that are currently in the Solar System are such remnants.
The sun.
It rotates on its side, relative to the plane of the solar system. It is the only planet in the solar system that does this.
Yes.
