Famous for its wine, Bordeaux in the Aquitaine region of Western France, is a beautiful city to visit year round. The city is split into two parts, the East and the West. Through the middle of the city is the river Garonne. The river is wide and easily accessible for large ships.

Walking around the city, visitors can enjoy the amazing and unique architecture from the Pont de Pierre to the Gross Cloche. Of course, touring wineries is part of the Bordeaux experience. In the city center the streets are very narrow, making driving and finding places to park very difficult. Walking is the best way to be able to get around and enjoy the various shops, cafes and eateries.

Bordeaux is one of the oldest and lovliest cities in France. There is a lot of history to this region of France and it shows through ancient buildings to the oldest and best wineries in the world.
