i have been a small engine tech at a JOHN DEERe dealership for the last 10years just last week i was given a trs 26 snowblower that a customer did not want to spend the money for the required repairs. getting back to the question above the engine that are on the trs26 are techumseh 8hp the carb are made by walbro but made to techumseh specifcations, i hope this answers your question....
