The speed of light changes if the density of medium changes. In hot air, the density is less so due to the change in speed of light, we think that it is flickering.

What are opaque object?

There are 3 types of objects:1.TRANSPARENT OBJECTS:(have no shadow)it is the object that you can see clearly through .EX: water , gas2.SEMI-TRANSPARENT OBJECTS:can be seen through but not clear enough.3.OPAQUE OBJECTS:(have a shadow as light cannot pass through it but reflects)can't be seen through at all.

Why can't you see sound?

you can see sound. the tremanariously objectified sense of gravitational propulsion can be seen through its effect on orbitally mechanophysical objects. you can see sound. the tremanariously objectified sense of gravitational propulsion can be seen through its effect on orbitally mechanophysical objects.

How are transparent objects seen?

Transparent objects can be seen due to their refractive index. Although light travels through them, the material that the object is made out of may change the speed of the light. With different shapes, curved surfaces for example, the light may be refracted or bent as it goes from air, through the transparent material, and out again. you don't really notice this on window panes as their flat shape does not cause the light to change direction noticeably.

How can objects which do not emit light be seen?

By definition, something which does not emit light cannotbe seen. However, it can be observed, in that its effects such as through gravity and electromagnetism can be detected.

Why can't objects be seen clearly through a translucent object?

Because while the opacity of the object will allow photons through, they do not maintain their original trajectory.

What is diagram showing differce betweet microscpic and macroscopic aproach?

Microscopic is a small object that can only be seen through a microscope. Macroscopic approach is objects that can be seen by the eye.

Objects less than mm apart can be seen as distinct objects?

Yes objects less than a mm apart can be seen as distinct objects. The lowest limit for the human eye to see is 0.1mm. If objects are any closer they are seen as being one item.

What happens to the finger as seen through the water?

When looking at objects in water they appear distorted. this is due to the ripples and reflections in the water.

Will different voltage make a light flicker?

Yes it will with a regular Edison bulb but when it comes to the cfl and florecent tube lights well their gases can settle and cause that dancing light or flickering if seen through a shade with those just remove shake and replace but they also can flicker with voltage changes but they need a more significant voltage change to be noticeable
