What is the cause of mental disorders?

Competitive blockade-the root cause of all mental disorders:

If two thoughts enter the conscious mind at precisely the same time it leads to blanking of mind and abolition of all movements, emotions, feeling and thoughts.

This results in,

1. False peace

2. False self-control

Thus, this is the easiest way of getting some kind of peace and also control over our body and mind.

Normally this is an accident and soon the stronger thought enters the conscious mind.

However, if we have voluntary force we can prolong it as long as we wish or as long as we have voluntary force.

If the voluntary force is depleted,

1. We can make the blockade involuntary

2. Let it fail and let the better thought enters the conscious mind

3. Allow exchange of emotions between the two thoughts and permit the socially accepted thought to manifest as action.

If the blockade is made automatic it should be made to unblock automatically

1. When we have to execute action.

2. When we expect to interact with other people

Causes for abnormal behavior due to blockade:

1. Inability to interact with others due to competitive blockade

2. Crossing over of emotions results in an external event leading to unexpected action

3. Automatic unblocking may manifest as action without any reason.

The results are very complicated because the mind has seven states. They are,

1. Dreaming mind

2. Illusory mind

3. Voluntary mind

4. Semi voluntary mind/ Natural mind/ Default mind

5. Involuntary mind

6. Status altering mind

7. Compulsive mind.

This, makes mental disorders extremely complicated.

1. Natural mind is the default mind. However in mental disorders other minds are used

2. Use of compulsive mind as default manifests as abnormal behavior

3. Use of Dreaming mind as default results in abnormal mind with an almost normal behavior.

Thus, mental disorders are due to abuse of the mechanism called competitive blockade.

Modern people believe that mental disorders are caused by abnormal levels of neurotransmitters in the brain.

The description below is based on Brahmajnana, the supreme Hindu Knowledge, that is independent of time, space and person. Thus, the explanation may look some what different.

THE CONTROL OF BODY AND MIND:

Human beings are created to control their body and mind using the Complete Original Human Interface of Life, the COHIL, which Hindus call Brahman, and consider it their supreme god.

THE LOCATION OF THE COHIL:

All the skeletal muscles of our body can isometrically contract (harden) and relax (soften) as though they were a single skeletal muscle, which can be called as Unified Skeletal Muscle, USM. In Hinduism it is called Purusha. The COHIL exists in the USM.

By default the cursor of our life called 'I' must be in the center of our body, at the level of our navel.

THE MECHANISM OF COHIL:

This is a three dimensional entity.

The three dimensions are,

1. VERTICAL - REALITY

This dimension has seven stages.

They are,

1. Dreaming

2. Illusion

3. Creativity

4. Stabilization

5. Determination

6. Status increase

7. Compulsion

2. LEFT TO RIGHT / INTEGRITY:

In this dimension, activities merge under ideal conditions and separated under chaotic conditions.

3. BACK TO FRONT / TIME:

In this dimension, under ideal conditions we would be ever ready for any activity and under chaotic conditions we execute an activity whenever possible.

THE MODERN WAY OF LIVING:

The materialistic era we are living in, is the era of ignorance. Imitation is very sacred to us.

Since, under ideal conditions the COHIL is bypassed, we consider anything that enables us to bypass the COHIL even for a moment as knowledge. Anything that doesn't is wrong or ignorance!

Thus, according to modernists, this answer is based on ignorance.

BRAIN AND MENTAL DISORDERS:

It is the belief, that the brain controls our body and mind, that has enabled us to bypass the COHIL, specialize and progress at lightning speed.

If, in this process, our life is devastated completely, the sensible thing is to investigate whether it is the bypassing of the COHIL that ruined our life.

Instead, we are trying to find the solution to our problem in the brain it self.

What all the study of the brain to understand mental disorders has revealed is that it has about 100 billion, interconnected neurons, and thus an unlimited scope for obscurantism.

THE ACTUAL CAUSE OF MENTAL DISORDERS:

We live in a materialistic world. According to us anything that has no material existence is worth nothing. Thus, our COHIL and mind are not worth anything to us.

When we succeed, by bypassing the COHIL under all conditions, we don't realize that it is our COHIL and our mind that bears the exorbitant prices.

Thus, the actual cause of mental disorders is the greed of man that forced him to bypass the Complete Original Human Interface of Life.
